They *did* release Chaos Wastes when it was ready in April 2021 and that has been very well received. Possibly because it became impossible to balance properly in a game entirely designed around PVE. They had a trailer for Versus mode in VT2, almost 4 years ago and that has sunk without a trace and Hedge admitting it was announced too soon. They did a Roadmap for Vermintide 2 back in 2018, it didn't work out so well.
